The Village of Woodmere, Mayor and resident are saddened to learn of the passing of Cleveland Browns’ legend Jim Brown.
Brown, regarded by many as the greatest football player of all time who quit the game at the height of his career and became a successful Hollywood actor and activist at the peak of the civil rights era.
Jim Brown died at his home in Los Angeles. He was 87.
