Woodmere Village to Host Woodmere Music Fest on August 25th
Woodmere Village, Ohio, June 5, 2019 –
We Are pleased to announce the second annual Woodmere Music Fest, taking place on August 25, 2019 from 12-6 pm at Eton Chagrin Boulevard, 28601 Chagrin Blvd., Woodmere, Ohio. This year we will feature the 2019 Winner of Cleveland’s Best Cover Band – Old Skool Cleveland.
Last year’s inaugural music festival had an overwhelmingly positive response from the community and over 1,500 guests in attendance. This year, Woodmere is celebrating our 75th anniversary, so we anticipate the festival to be even more special.
Woodmere Village, known to many as the Gateway to the Chagrin Valley, will be the destination for Northeast Ohio residents and visitors to enjoy local and regional entertainers from multiple musical genres; youth and senior activities; arts and entertainment. “My administration’s goal is to continue to revitalize the community while presenting new programs that are family-friendly,” says Mayor Benjamin Holbert. “We want to highlight local talent and bring the community together for a family-friendly experience.”
Festival Director Vicki Dansby says, “While music will be the main focus of the Fest there will also be entertainment and activities for families to enjoy throughout the day.” “We are featuring “The Evolution of Woodmere” exhibit, vendors and food from the entire area for a taste of what the Village has to offer.”
This year, Festival programming will be held both indoor and outdoor. Festival attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy performances held on the main stage, located in front of the Gazebo at Eton Chagrin Boulevard.
