Individuals who have outstanding misdemeanor warrants in the Village will soon have the opportunity to clear their names and rid themselves of the anxiety of being arrested. The Woodmere Police Department is partnering with the City of Cleveland, in conjunction with the Bedford Municipal Court, to implement the amnesty program July 30th. “We are proud to announce that we are partnering with Earle B. Turner, Cleveland clerk of courts, and the “In the Neighborhood” program to help those with outstanding traffic and misdemeanor violations have a second chance of resolving these issues and clearing their records”. If additional dates are needed, the police department and local prosecutor and judge are on board to extend dates into October and November. Individuals looking to participate in this opportunity can visit www.woodmerevillage.com or www.cmcoh.gov and search “in the neighborhood” for more information. Or call 216-831-3432 ext. 224 or 233.
