NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL WOODMERE VILLAGE OWNED HOUSE AND LAND LOCATED AT 3819 ROSELAWN AVENUE.
Notice is hereby given that the Village of Woodmere intends to sell the following described property, with residential house, commonly known as 3819 Roselawn Avenue, and in connection therewith will conduct a sale of said property by means of sealed bids which may be submitted to the Law Director, Village of Woodmere, 28999 Chagrin Boulevard, Woodmere, OH 44122 until October 15, 2014 at 12:00 noon, at which time they will be opened: Situated in the Village of Woodmere, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio and known as being a 1.1249 acres Residual Parcel ‘A’ in the “Lot Split Plat for the Village of Woodmere” of part of Original Orange Township, Lot #10, Tract #2 as shown on the recorded plat in Volume 377, Page 43 of Cuyahoga County Map Records, as surveyed, calculated and described from Cuyahoga County Records by Donald F. Sheehy, Registered Surveyor #7849 of Chagrin Valley Engineering, Ltd., in March, 2014, be the same, more or less, but subject to all legal highways and easements of records. Permanent parcel no. 891-08-069. The property is to be sold and conveyed to the highest and best bidder, acceptable to the Village Council, at its next meeting following the opening of bids, by Quitclaim deed, upon the following terms and conditions: Minimum bid required $175,000.00. Ten percent (10%) of the purchase price is to be paid upon notification that a bid has been accepted, and the balance shall be paid to the Woodmere Village Treasurer within thirty (30) days thereafter. All payments shall be in cash or by certified check or money order. The property is being sold “AS IS” without any representation by the Village of Woodmere as to its condition.
