The Cleveland 2016 Host Committee is still looking for Suppliers. As mentioned on their website, their goal is “to provide an easily accessible, comprehensive supplier guide to the Republican National Committee’s Committee on Arrangements, as well as to local and visiting Convention participants to assist them in their planning.”

As Council President Holbert mentioned in his communication, this event can “infuse 200 to 300 million dollars into the region’s economy.” He also stated, “people coming to Cleveland for the convention may have the influence to go back to their organizations and cities and share that Greater Cleveland is a great place to hold a convention. So in 2017, and beyond, there could be an influx of conventions and other activities coming to our region based on the experiences of the RNC. We also hope the Democrats find favor with Cleveland.”
